User Fields in PetPoint
Below are the various choices & categories and their definitions that you will see in PetPoint. Required fields are in maroon, and fields are customer defined (meaning you can alter some or all of the choices in the drop downs) where noted.

Intake SubType: This is a very customizable field that will allow users to show what type of Intake Owner/Guardian Surrender this was. Some options provided for you are: Surrendered for Adoption and Returned Adoption. This is a customer defined field.
DOA: Check this box if the animal you are recording is dead on arrival. This allows you to skip outcome.
Asilomar Status: Works in conjunction with the Asilomar Reports. (Only required when set up by the administrators of PetPoint. Click here to read more about Asilomar.)
Jurisdiction: What local area did the animal came from? This is a customer defined field.
Zip Code/State/City: What area did this intake occur? The zip/state and city from the person who brought the animal in is entered by default, if the person or their zip is unknown the organization's zip code will appear by default, or you may enter a new one using the green button with two arrows to pick out the state & city.
Location Found: Write a freeform description of where the animal was found, will show on the Lost/Found Flyer.
Intake Date/Time: What date and time did the animal arrive? Users have the ability to easily backdate the intake by overwriting the default date of today and typing the new date/time in this field.
Intake By: This is a drop down list, populated by all Person Records with the Association of 'Operation By'. Much like Performed By/'Medical Personnel', this drop down menu is created by individual person records that have the proper association.
Recorded By: This will show what user has completed the intake process in PetPoint based on who is logged in at the time.
Emancipation Date: When will the animal be emancipated to your organization and available for you to place up for adoption?
Stage: What stage is the animal is currently in? For example, if the animal is available for adoption you would want to select "Available." If the animal cannot be adopted at this point you will wanted to put it as "New Arrival" or "Evaluate." This is a customer defined field, and can be used to track the progress of the animal through your shelter's unique categories.
Stage Review Date: A review date can be placed to run a report to check on certain animals and can be used to determine if the stage needs to be updated. Can be helpful in bite quarantine cases, or if there is a New Arrival period of time for intakes.
Location: Where is the animal to be housed within the shelter? This is a customer defined field.
SubLocation: Where is the animal kept within the Location? This is a customer defined field.
Case ID: If this animal belongs to an already existing case record you can enter in the Case ID here. Otherwise, leave this section blank. PetPoint Professional (formerly PetPoint SMS) Only.
Intake Owner/Guardian Surrender

Happy Tails Expiry Date: Indicate when you want the Happy Tail for this adoption to be removed from your website. Administrators may want to set up a Default Date here on Admin > Admin Options > I-frame / Webservices & Petango Options. You may indicate a past date if you do not wish to provide adoption information for this animal.
Jurisdiction: What local area the animal is going to.
Zip Code/State/City: What area did this outcome occur? The zip/state and city from the person with whom the animal is going is entered by default, if the person or their zip is unknown the organization's zip code will appear by default, or you may enter a new one using the green button with two arrows to pick out the state & city.
Outcome Date/Time: What date and time was the animal released? Users have the ability to easily backdate the outcome by overwriting the default date of today and typing the new date/time in this field. Outcomes may only be backdated up to two days by the user. Administrators may only backdate Outcome Adoptions here if they wish to provide the ShelterCare policy
Outcome By: This is a drop down list, populated by all Person Records with the Association of 'Operation By'. Much like Performed By/'Medical Personnel', this drop down menu is created by individual person records that have the proper association.
Release/Deferred Adoptions: This grayed out section reflects the choice given at the top of the page in the ShelterCare section, as to when the ShelterCare gift will be activated immediately or deferred until a time when the user does the Outcome Release process. Outcome Release is helpful when the shelter wishes to process an adoption, and the new owner plans to pick the animal up at a later date or time. This option defaults to Immediate Release. If a Deferred Adoption is being processed, you also have the ability to choose a new Stage and Location for the animal.
